Goodbye, Utah... Tomorrow morning at 3 am, I leave for the field!!!! I'm so excited. My P-day will be changing from Wednesday to Monday, which will be cool for all of you to know. As Hermana Gonzalez would say (bless her little soul), she has so much love for us and was literally the best MTC teacher you could have. She made my day so much better every morning. Her English isn't perfect, but it's still super good. She isn't a native speaker, so I love that she was always willing to try and make mistakes, but try. I am taking her ejemplo to the field to go with that mindset that they don't care, they just appreciate that I am trying. JK, I'm not pregnant, but if I was, I would probably not be! But in all reality, I actually leave at 6 am Tuesday morning (which is my bday, 19 yay), and I fly for 4 hours to Atlanta. I have a 56-minute layover in Atlanta and then head to Puerto Rico for another 3 and a half hour flight. Hooray, flying's lame lol. I'm honestly so nervous and excited to leave and go to the field. I will tell you three of the things I am most excited for and three things I'm nervous about. Excitement: I am so excited to go live on my own and learn how to handle myself, mature, and have an apartment with a companion. It will be really good and a fun experience. I am excited to love the people, feel the love, and spread the love of Christ and God. I truthfully know everyone needs and deserves love, and of course, we could give it to them, but sometimes it's really hard to love someone. 4 weeks of MTC done!!! I'm so excited to go to Puerto Rico. Or not, I don't know if I'm actually going. Still haven't got my flight info... and literally everyone has it in my district, besides the kids going to Chile. But their call is wack right now because there are kids in Chile proselyting, but the borders are closed. So, I don't know what the church is thinking. The border closure got extended 7 days or whatever it is, so maybe they're still waiting to make a final call. I'm not sure. But it's annoying because I'm not being reassigned. Leg hair - Why do I even have hair on my legs? I literally hate it so much. It literally just has negative aspects of it. 1. It's hideous, makes me look like Bigfoot. 2. It doesn't have that nice feeling when you get into a blanket and your legs are all smooth. 3. My tan doesn't look as bueno because I have hair shading my legs, oof. 4. It gets pulled by my socks. 5. It gets pulled by me when I'm bored, lol. Anyway, what had happened was I was reshaving my sock line because, you know, my socks keep pulling my freaking leg hair, and it's absolutely horrible. It is worse than shots. I would rather have a shot in my arm than have my leg hairs pulled out by socks. It's literally awful. Like, what is Stance thinking? Back to the story, my leg hair obviously was growing again, so I needed to reshave my sock line.
