MERRY CHRISTMAS A TODOS Y TAMBIEN I HIT SIX MONTHS

Bueno, qué la hay que freaking hay!

So this week went by fast and was so hectic, tbh. I got so many stories for the homecoming talk in my new area, and I love it. Also, got some pretty insane revelation. I like being a missionary so much. It's so hard but so rewarding. Anyways, let's get it.

So Diego came to church yesterday. It was chevere that he came to make 2 sacrament attendances, so he's clear for baptism! (Every time I hear his name, I think of Dora.) lol, lo siento por eso. But Diego's awesome, he's progressing so good! Keep praying for him so he can perseverar hasta el fin!

We were doing a call with some referral last night named Ricardo, and it was so awesome. He was so curious about the restoration, and then he's like, "bruh, I need this book," and he went off on how wrong the Bible is because they just took out all the books that are in the apocrypha, and was like, "these books literally been so distorted," and we were like, "mhhmmmmm," kathahkltjas; yhg8oyafiklj htbrqy8obwqwfby crv6 2q bahahah. Idek, I have only had rice for 3 days. Basically a boricua!

Elder Roeser got me a Dear John letter last Monday, so shout out to him for being the literal goat!

We were doing a white elephant on Christmas with our district. I bought a plunger, lol, and wrapped it with printed out pieces of paper with my face on it. Elder Tew wrapping paper!

Shout out Josh, David, and Ariana for sending me a Christmas gift. Goats and Grandma and Mom, thanks for the love and support.

On Friday, we went to the Caguas hospital for 8 hours to see a doctor for my comp's knee. Lol, he has IT band syndrome bad, and he probably has a meniscus tear, but they're like, "we need to do an MRI because if you do have a meniscus tear, you'll have to get surgery." Then we go to set up the MRI, and it's January 15, so he has to wait a month. Lol, jajajajajaja, it was kinda so funny. I'm sorry I laughed at that whole situation. It's good, though. They gave him pain pills, he can't feel his leg anymore. Jajaja.

I hit 6 months this week, and that was cool, but I was sick for like a whole 2 days this week, puking and in bed, so that was fun. Hahaha, I am good now, pretty sure it was just PTSD, anxiety, and sleep loss from the bed bug situation... Btw, got a new bed and an exterminator came, so we are all chillin! We did a service project for some school and unloaded 3000 toys for Christmas on Wednesday. That was cool, then I was sick and ate mofongo. Don't worry about it.

This week is a blur. I literally can't remember anything!

We had a mission-wide call for a zone conference on Tuesday for two hours, and we learned a lot. I love to have our devotionals with the mission!

Apparently, Subway makes pasta now, and the cheesy alfredo is actually not bad. If you're at the Subway, try it. Haha, I got it in the hospital!

We went to Wendy's and asked for a bucket of ice, and they just gave it to us for the Christmas party. I love Puerto Rico!

We convinced our neighbor Fano to start giving us free bananas, so every day we're just getting free bananas. That's funny, actually. He's always bringing us more.

We had our ward Christmas party on Friday, and Puerto Ricans go ham when they party! Obviously, they had a spiritual thought at first, but I love Puerto Rican parties. Also, someone burnt the rice, and it literally tasted like cigarettes. Not even lying, that's the truth. It was kinda gross!

President Skinner came to our ward on Sunday, gave me a blessing, and it felt like a patriarchal blessing. So that was super cool. He also said something, and I was like, "ooooooo aaahhhh" because I was praying, fell asleep while praying, had a dream about some random thing I didn't know, then he made it all make sense. I was like, "bruhhhhhhhhh, revelation!!!!!!!!"

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE! I HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD WEEK THIS WEEK!

14 Verily, verily, I say unto you, I give unto you to be the light of this people. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.

15 Behold, do men light a candle and put it under a bushel? Nay, but on a candlestick, and it giveth light to all that are in the house.

16 Therefore let your light so shine before this people, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Go be that light! Jesus said it! He loves you! The butterfly cycle is six weeks pa' que sepa! Don't worry about it... Be yourself, the Lord called you to this earth for a reason. You have a talent someone else doesn't, don't hide your light!
