HERMANO WAIT FOR ME TELL I GET BACK

1 Nephi 10:17: I, Nephi, was desirous also that I might see, and hear, and know of these things by the power of the Holy Ghost, which is the gift of God unto all those who diligently seek Him, as well in times of old as in the time that He should manifest Himself unto the children of men.

18 For He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and the way is prepared for all men from the foundation of the world, if it so be that they repent and come unto Him.

19 For he that diligently seeketh shall find, and the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto them by the power of the Holy Ghost, as well in these times as in times of old, and as well in times of old as in times to come. Wherefore, the course of the Lord is one eternal round.

Now, this is powerful. Let's think about what it's saying really fast: "He that diligently seeketh shall find." That's a promise that if you really look for the mysteries of God, it will be given unto you. We just need to look and work for the answer.

I love revelations. I am going to talk about a super cool story that happened this week, but these scriptures just really stood out to me today. (Note: when Nephi is writing this, it's 600 years before Christ.) Anyways, I love how he says it shall be unfolded unto them by the power of the Holy Ghost, as well in times of old and in times to come (this was in 600 BC), meaning our day. We have this ability of revelations, to learn for ourselves because God loves us. He talks to us. It would be pretty hard to know someone loves you if he didn't talk to you. Anyways, on to the story really fast.

So, we well... Backstory Thursday, we were supposed to have a lesson with this guy, and we missed it because we were in Levittown getting a COVID test (my comp is going to Saint Croix for transfers). So, we were getting my comp a COVID test, and we missed this lesson with this guy. We can't call and say sorry because he doesn't have a phone, so we were going to pass by, but he lives in the very far end of our area. So, we happened to be in the area Saturday, so we are going to see him, and we offer a prayer for some help before the lesson. We were also going to go street contact, so we offer a contacting prayer (we learned the night before in our zone call to start praying for specific blessings, not just elect people, so we did that). We said, "Please help us find someone that has a phone, car, family, Sundays free, someone like that," and I just immediately felt like, "No, we need to go to this other area to see this one family." So, we immediately leave to the other area, 10 minutes away, and we find this lady, and she's like, "I am super busy, I only have Sundays free, has 3 cars, and a phone," so it was the whole shebang in like 2 seconds.

Anyways, that was super cool because we asked diligently and it came. All we have to do is have a desire to know and put in the work to get the faith and ask of God. It all starts with prayer. That's how it always works, and it's usually just a thought that just pops in our head, and that's revelation (D&C 8:2-3).

My comp had to get his stuff done, so I got to go to Plaza Las Americas (the biggest mall I've ever seen). I also saw Playero finally.

I am so lazy to type more, but I love you guys so much. I am staying in Aibonito for another 6 weeks with a new comp, Elder Blakemore, so hopefully, this is super fun. I'm way excited.

Also, Elder Teuchers is in my district, hahaha.

That lady that has diapers from last week told my comp to wait 3 months till she's back from NY. I don't know why.

Oh yeah, I forgot a super good story! We found a lady and her son, and they came to church.
