Well, well, well, this is about the third time I've tried to record this. The first time, I deleted it. The second time, it just stopped recording. So, we're just gonna go into it really fast, really quick. No jokes aside, actually, all jokes put to the side. There are no jokes anymore. I don't have time for this. What are you doing? What are you doing? And is that offensive? Anyway, so Monday night, well, actually, it was Monday morning. It was a good, nice Monday day. We woke up last week to go for a hike with this guy named Jose. He's really cool. He made some Jell-O with some cream cheese inside of it. It tastes so good. Oh, my companion doesn't like it. I really just don't understand. It's actually delicious. But anyways, we go on this hike. My companion decides to go up by a waterfall, and he slips and falls on his butt. Then later in the day, we're walking in Walmart and I'm like, "Yo, what happened to you?" And he's like, "...

OK, guys, welcome to this podcast because I hate typing. Do you hear this keyboard? I ain't going to use it because I hate typing. You know, I'm actually really behind in my journal because I have not been able to do anything. I'm too busy to write in a journal. Somehow, I caught up, though, but that took like all day. That's beside the point. Here's a rundown of my week. On Monday, I went to Eric's house, a recent convert, and he referred two people, which was super cool. We started teaching them in English, how do I say, his wife's nieces' boyfriend. What even is that? I don’t even know what the relation is. It's kind of like a relative, but not really 'cause they aren't married. But she already has two kids with this dude, and he's 15, and she's 18. We're just trying to bring him the gospel so that they can be happy. The dude said he doesn't want to get married, though, so we'll have to wait three years for them to get ...

So this week was crazy. To start, yesterday I almost got struck by lightning, and I'm not even joking. Within 20 feet from me, it struck the house we just knocked. We were walking away. An amazing burst of light came, and a huge crack. BAMM, and I was in a ball on the floor. My life flashed before my eyes. My companion thinks I'm a pansy. It was terrifying. Jose and Marie - So one day, me and Elder Donaldson were walking, looking for a less active house, and we took a wrong turn down this street. After murmuring and saying, "I told you this wasn't the street," he goes, "There are no coincidences in God. Let's go pee in that field at the end." So we went down to the jungle to use the bathroom, haha, and we came out and walked up and saw Jose and Marie. Jose was washing his car, and Marie was watching him. So we started a conversation. Jose was not interested in talking at all to us. Marie just wanted to practice her English because we were white. So w...

Ay, bendito! I hate typing. Why do I always say that, then type out an email? I don't know, don't ask questions. Just listen to the stories and stop asking questions. I got to help Elder Roeser end his mission officially. So, Elder Donaldson flew out to Saint Kitts on Monday, and I got Elder Roeser for 2 days before he finished his mission and went home. Those were weird times. I felt like this week was one giant exchange, and I still don't know what's going on. Man, so me and Elder Roeser were walking down these streets, and we found this lady. Her name, I have no idea. We told her tomorrow was my birthday and that we wanted to be on her Facebook. The end of the story is that I ended up on this random lady's Facebook page while eating a cake. I don't know how the conversation went that way, but she seemed interested.
