Santa Isabel - Paraiso Del Sur

Yo, my new area is mad hype. I'm in Farmville Beach Town, Puerto Rico. It's crazy!

Training is pretty fun. I've enjoyed it a lot, actually. My new companion, Elder Aslami (Salami), he's a beast. He reminds me a lot of myself. It's been a really good time. I'm also living in a 4-man with the elders of Juana Diaz, and it's been the funniest and funnest time of my mission.

We live with Elder Rahm and Elder Clegg. And the other night, me and Elder Rahm tried to diagnose Elder Clegg with OCD. In Elder Rahm's own words, "We are correct." Elder Clegg disagrees. I don't really care. If he has OCD, at least our house is clean. Elder Clegg loves the house clean, and he hates cockroaches and spiders, so we are going to buy some fake ones and put them in his bed. He hates the disorganized cabinets, so we have been organizing his organizations into deorganizations, and it's funny. But he also doesn't react, so it's more just funny between me and Elder Rahm. I like Elder Clegg a lot, actually. Aside from the jokes, we get along well. We both hate bugs, and he likes a clean house. I am not against a clean house. I feel like we connect on a spiritual level.

Elder Aslami is my son. He makes me laugh. We did a challenge this week where I smiled the whole drive from our house to our appointment. I was smiling for like 25 minutes, and my jaw hurt after.

This week, I was studying Alma 50 with the thought of replacing Lamanites with Satan and Moroni and the Nephites to us.

Thus Moroni did prepare strongholds against the coming of their enemies, round about every city in all the land.

Thus Elder Tew did prepare strongholds against the coming of Satan, round about all his testimony, in every testimony.

All the land,
Round about every city.
We just gotta press forward and fortify everything. Keep on going until we cannot keep going, and then keep going. It's kind of crazy that he fortifies every single city in all the land. I was thinking about that towards me, how we need to keep fortifying everything. It's not just the scriptures we can read or it's not just showing up to church or just going to the temple. We need it all to help fortify all of us in every aspect of our testimonies so that there can't be any room for Satan. They went forth and drove all the Lamanites who were in the east wilderness into their own lands. I like how they were actively searching to destroy Satan, like a daily repentance type thing, and seek to be in line with the straight and narrow path. When I think actively destroy Satan, the talk from Russell M. Nelson, "Overcome the World and Find Rest," keeps coming to my head, and I keep thinking about getting rid of even your favorite sins. I don't think there is any room for us to let Satan have any chance. We have to actively get rid of the things that get rid of the Spirit.

Anyways, I'm doing well. I am tired of typing emails.
