Shout Out Brandon Anderson For Keeping His Word.
Hey guys. I'm doing good. I will go home in 120 days, and I am terrified. I think it's giving me extreme anxiety that it's almost over.
The miracle for this week started on Sunday last week. We decided to bring a member to a cita, and he came, and my companion and I both forgot a Book of Mormon. We were really embarrassed, thinking, "Oh my goodness, what horrible missionaries forgot a Book of Mormon?" So Tuesday, we decided to bring our friend the Book of Mormon, but he was not home. My companion asked if we should leave it on his door, and I said, "No, I feel we should take it." Then I thought and said, "No, let's take it with us" (usually I would just leave it). So we left. Then, on Tuesday, we were back in his neighborhood, and I'm like, "Let's go to his street." So we went, and we happened to stumble upon a basher who asked me what color Jesus was. I was like, "Not this again." So then we walked away, found the dude we were going to give the Book of Mormon to, and then we saw this dude getting out of the car, and he was like, "Hey, I know the missionaries in Yauco." I was like, "Are you Ed?" He was like, "How do you know my name?" God told me! Then he said, "They are going to invite me to be baptized," and I said, "Say yes. It's not complicated. Make it simple, don't overthink it. If you feel good, say yes." Later that evening, he said yes and will be baptized this weekend. Pretty cool to be an answer to his prayer. It's a lot more detailed, but he was praying all day for an answer, happened to go into the gated neighborhood at that time, and we were there. Pretty cool. The only reason he was there is because his friend begged him to drop something off, but he was running late for the appointment he had with the missionaries.
I am doing well. It's a good week. This week, we are going to be at MLC with Brad Wilcox. Two of our friends came to church.
Please pray for:
Yolanda
Luis Daliot
Jose and Baby Sam
Glenda
Arianna, Regla, Reiney
Noemi
They are potentials for baptism. It's been a grind here. We are trying to help a lot and a lot.
My friend Brandon (one of my most favorite people) came and took me to lunch this week, and that was probably the highlight of my week. Seeing someone I knew from before Puerto Rico, and he is awesome, so it was fun to eat with him while he was here on vacation and share the light with him. Shout out to the Buckle fam. I miss them.
