The Ponce Sunburns

This week was pretty crazy. This is Elder Clegg typing; hope you all are doing well. I'm serving in Juana Diaz, so I don't really know what Elder Tew's week was like, but he's doing pretty good. They had MLC on Wednesday, which I'm sure was fun, but I couldn't tell you since I wasn't there.

Until next week,
Elder Clegg

MLC
Was absolutely insane. We had Hermana Skinner's tacos and all. It was just a nice council with the president and all the leaders of the mission. It was like an upgraded zone conference, to be honest with you.

It was Three Kings Day this week, which was pretty cool. Three Kings Day here is kinda like the Fourth of July in Utah. There are fireworks, and it's less of a family party like Christmas but more like an outside neighborhood thing. So we decided to go walking in this neighborhood that was gated. And we got in, and there was a bunch of Puerto Rican music at the cancha. So we decided to go to the cancha and then they gave us free ice cream and hamburgers, and we found four people in that neighborhood.

It is insanely hot on the south coast of Puerto Rico. It has been 90 degrees for the last 12 days, and there is no rain on the south. I am absolutely fried, and I love it.

Nothing much is happening; we are just alive, and I love my mission. We have zone conference this week; that'll be exciting.

Last Sunday, Hermano Pai gave us a turkey dinner, and I was having such a hard time staying awake.
