2 Years Then You're Right Back Here..... Extension Was Cancelled.

"Oh, my apostasy!"

This week, I had the great idea to take my "greenie" to learn about apostasy. It was a spontaneous idea. There we were, Wednesday, February 22, 2023, in Catholic Island, specifically in the plaza of Coamo. Moreover, it was Ash Wednesday, so we decided to enter the Catholic church because everyone was saying hi and inviting us in. And so, we went.

All I can say is, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's true and living church on the face of the Earth. I felt like I was watching Satan's plan unfold in live action. (I don't think Catholics are bad or satanic. Let me get to my point.) As I was sitting there, I watched as these people flocked to the church like robots. And inside the church, it was so robotic—everyone saying the same thing. The priest up there... We left after 10 minutes; we had no idea it was Ash Wednesday, or we would've stayed and watched the ashes to observe. It felt like no one had a mind of their own. One of the biggest frustrations as a missionary is when people don't take their own time to figure things out. The world doesn't understand the fall or agency at all, at least from what I have seen.

Anyway, it's cool to learn what you know and see it in effect. One could say I'm brainwashed, but if that's the case, that's fine by me. I know what I went through and felt. I know what I know, and the Catholic Church was not what I know; it was the opposite. No feelings of peace, no testifying of truth. It was just a building with scary pictures of Jesus suffering and Mary on a throne.

Don't get me wrong, I respect Catholic people. They are some of the most amazing people I have met. But the church, the doctrine, and the Catholic Church are absolute apostasy.

I also crashed a Catholic wedding this week. Don't ask why I happened to be there during a wedding as well. Come on, man! Where are the eternities? "Until death do you part," what in the...

Jose came to church finally.

We decided to walk in Coamo more this week instead of Santa Isabel, and we actually found a lot of cool people with tons of potential.

So apparently, I got pranked, and my extension is not happening. June 1st, here I come. :( Dang it, why does it go so fast? I love being a missionary; I love Puerto Rico.
