2 Years Then You're Right Back Here..... Extension Was Cancelled.

"Oh, my apostasy!" This week, I had the great idea to take my "greenie" to learn about apostasy. It was a spontaneous idea. There we were, Wednesday, February 22, 2023, in Catholic Island, specifically in the plaza of Coamo. Moreover, it was Ash Wednesday, so we decided to enter the Catholic church because everyone was saying hi and inviting us in. And so, we went. All I can say is, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's true and living church on the face of the Earth. I felt like I was watching Satan's plan unfold in live action. (I don't think Catholics are bad or satanic. Let me get to my point.) As I was sitting there, I watched as these people flocked to the church like robots. And inside the church, it was so robotic—everyone saying the same thing. The priest up there... We left after 10 minutes; we had no idea it was Ash Wednesday, or we would've stayed and watched the ashes to observe. It felt like no one had a mind of ...

¡¡¡My Mission Was Extended!!!

Well, I got talked to at zone conference this week, and I got an extension to my mission! Mosiah (4:3) inspired thought: The Atonement has practical, personal, daily value in your life, so apply it. The power in daily repentance is key and amazing. If you are daily repenting, you will always have an influence of the Holy Ghost. The cleansing comes from the Holy Ghost. (Moroni 6:4) You will always be repenting daily, having daily influence of the healing power of the Atonement. "In the coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost." - Russell M. Nelson "Find joy in daily repentance." - Russell M. Nelson "Blessed are all they who do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled with the Holy Ghost." (3 Nephi 12:6) Our ability to hear spiritually is linked to our willingness to work at it. Desire (hungering and thirsting) and action, that combi...

Elder Donaldson Tew Combo Part 2???

Before anything, someone started praying with us so that Charlie Aysa Donalson and I will be companions again. With our faith, we can do it. This week was pretty good. We had a lot of powerful lessons. To start the week, Monday night we went and visited a couple, and we had a pretty short but powerful lesson on the Book of Mormon. We decided to say a kneeling prayer together after explaining and testifying of the Holy Ghost and his role. So we kneeled down and offered a prayer, and then we all sat on our knees in silence to listen to what the Lord has to say to us. As we were sitting there thinking and listening, an overwhelming feeling of peace and joy filled the room. After we got off our knees about a minute after the amen, we asked them how they felt. They looked at us and said, "really peaceful and happy like you said." We testified that was the Spirit, shook their hands, and left. It was like a mic drop of spiritual power in that house. I could feel the Spirit come with...

God Is Good

This week was a week. I'd like to start off with a scripture: "For how knoweth a man the master whom he has not served, and who is a stranger unto him, and is far from the thoughts and intents of his heart?" (Mosiah 5:13). This week, when I was sitting in a sacrament meeting, I realized why it hurts so badly when someone doesn't keep their word, and I was really relating it to covenants. I truthfully feel so much pain and let down when someone doesn't keep a commitment. And I think it's because I know how the Savior feels about His children. You truly come to love the people and desire the best for them, wanting them to understand it in the way that you see it. You can see what they'll become when you picture them dressed in white, and they just don't see their own potential like you do. It kind of just hurts you inside, and you're not even mad; you're just super disappointed. I think this is how He may feel when we say we will always remember ...
